1、英語數字卡片，單詞卡片；
2、學生準備自家的全家福照片 。
3、多媒體課件。
教學過程：
1、組織課堂：播放歌曲《 ten little in Indians boys》
2、展示第20頁幻燈片 ，讓學生看圖，教師同學生一起學習生詞。
（1）學習單詞:people、 beach、 cinema .
①、出示詞卡 people ：
A: peo-ple ,p-e-o-p-l-e,many men, women and chidren.人，人們。這個詞本身是個集合名詞，只能表示多人，不能表示單個的人。
B:教師范讀這個單詞三遍。
C:教師教讀這個單詞三遍。
D:學生練讀三遍。
E:帶漢語意思讀三遍。
F:分開拼寫帶意思讀三遍。
G:全班讀三遍。
H:小組讀三遍。
I:讀指名匯報。
用各自的全家福照片問答：
How many people are there in your family?
There are….
②、利用上面方法學習:a beach。
Beach 海灘， on the beach 是個介詞短語，在海灘上。,
There are three people on the beach.
③、利用上面方法學習:a cinema
cinema 電影院的意思 在電影院是in the cinema

（1）、用多媒體課件出示本科課文。
學生充分感悟，領略純正的英語口語魅力。
（2）、學習How many people are there in your family?你家有多少人？
many許多，很多。
老師可數著全班男生 說，One,two,three,four,five … .many boys
數著全班女生 說，One,two,three,four,five … .many girls
數著全班學生 說 many ，many students
