譯文
有個(gè)擔(dān)憂他的禾苗長(zhǎng)不高而把禾苗往上拔的宋國(guó)人，一天下來(lái)十分疲勞但很滿足，回到家對(duì)他的`家人說(shuō)：“今天可把我累壞了，我?guī)椭堂玳L(zhǎng)高了!”他兒子聽說(shuō)后急忙到地里去看苗(的情況)，然而苗都枯萎了。
天下不希望自己禾苗長(zhǎng)得快一些的人很少啊!以為禾苗長(zhǎng)大沒(méi)有用處而放棄的人，就像是不給禾苗鋤草的懶漢。妄自幫助它生長(zhǎng)的人，就像這個(gè)拔苗助長(zhǎng)的人，不但沒(méi)有好處，反而害了它。
