　　Ⅰ. below在下面，指處于比某物低的位置，不一定在某物的正下方。它的反義詞是over。如：

　?、?Write your name below the line. 在線下寫上你的名字。

　?、?We are below the moon. 我們在月下。

　　Ⅱ. under 在的下面，相當于below，有時可以通用，但它指處于某物的正下方，其反義詞是over。如：

　　① He stood under a tree. 他站在樹下。

　?、?The cat was under the table. 貓在桌子下面。

　?、? Beneath在的`下面, 是舊用法的文學用語，現在很少用。相當于below,尤其相當于under. 如：

　?、?Children are playing beneath the window. 孩子們在窗子下面游戲。

　　[注]：down 是副詞，指自上而下，由高而低，常與表運動的動詞連用。其反義詞是up。如：

　?、?He fell down the stairs. 他從樓梯上跌了下來。

　　give a message/ leave a message / take a message.

　　Ⅰ. Leave a message.留下個信兒打電話的人常用。后與介詞for 搭配。構成 leave a message for sb.

　?、? take a message 捎個信兒接電話的人常用.后與介詞for 搭配。構成：take a message for sb.
