一、教學目標:
1、知識與能力:掌握本課新詞turkey ,corn, yams, pumpkin pie及句子What do you usually have for Thanksgiving?培養學生自主拼讀及記憶單詞的能力。

通過第六單元的學習,學生已基本掌握句型What do you usually have for breakfast?及相應回答。在本單元教學中教師應注重營造氛圍,介紹西方傳統節日——感恩節,本節課教學以感恩節的食物為切入點,圍繞如何描述感恩節進行課文教學。

1.看課件,復習有關食物單詞。
2.師生談論自己的飲食習慣。

3.閱讀有關春節的短文。
Spring Festival is Chinese festival. It’s in January or February. We usually have rice, noodles, fish, dumplings, vegetables and fruit juice. We usually have a big family dinner.
