第一天到公司上班,You must be nervous.
Peter: Good Morning. May I introduce myself? My name's Peter King and I'm new here.
Anna: Pleased to meet you. I'm Anna White, the assistant to the Personnel Manager.Welcome to our company.
在formal正式場合中, 要用:Good morning/afternoon或How do you do,同時要shaking hands“握握手”來顯示你的sincerity誠意。
May I introduce myself? My name's Peter King,你還可以說:Let me introduce myself. My name's Peter. 或者I'm Peter.
Peter: Could you introduce me to the Manager?
Susan: Of course. Mr. King... Mr. White, let me introduce you to Mr. Peter King, the new clerk in your department.
White: How do you do. I'm Alex White. We're going to be working together. Peter: How do you do. I've been looking forward to meeting you, Mr. White.
Could you introduce me to sb.?
1、I haven't met your Managing Director yet.
2、I don't know anyone here. You'll have to introduce me.
1、Let me introduce you to our Managing Director.(請讓我把您介紹給我們的總裁。);
2、I'll introduce you to our Managing Director , this is Mr. Johnson, our MD.
Nice to meet you.(見到您很高興。)
I've heard a lot about you.
Glad to meet you. 或Pleased to meet you. 來替代Nice to meet you.
1、It was very nice to have met you.
2、It was nice meeting you.
3、Hope to see you again.
1. Give me a hug.
這時候見了面通常就是彼此問候一下:How are you doing? 或是 What's up? 當然不一定要先說Give me a hug. 你還可以說Give me a squeeze. 或是 Give me a bear hug.(緊緊地抱我一下吧!)
2. How did you and John become friends?
How did you and xxx become friends? xxx就是那個介紹你們兩個相互認識的人。
另外問對方Where are you from? Are you new to Beijing?(你是剛來北京的嗎?)Do you need me to show you around?
3. I didn't recognize you!
I didn't know it was you! I didn't recognize you! Hey! Don't you recognize me?(喂!
I don't recognize you! I don't know you.
