金錢(qián)就是一切嗎?(Is Money Everything?)

　　At present some people think that money is everything. They say that you can do everything if you have money. You can live in a beautiful house, keep a luxurious ear and have all sorts of delicious food.

　　I don't think so. Indeed, money can buy a lot of things we need. But there are many, many wonderful things in the world that cannot be bough/; with money.

　　For example, knowledge cannot be bought with money. One cannot be rich in knowledge unless he studies hard. Time cannot be bought with money, either. Who can buy even a second with money?

　　There are still many other things that cannot be bought with money: health,life, happiness,friendship, love and so on. Just think, if a person hasn't these things at all, is the money still useful?

　　Can money buy happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some think yes, while others hold the opposite.

　　It is true that with enough money one can buy all the things one wants, and live a life of comfort and security. However, it is equally true that lack of money causes great distress. It is a common view that "money is the root of all evil." The pursuit of money drives many people to cheat and steal. In some places there is nothing that cannot be bought with money, resulting in corrupt societies where everybody is miserable.

　　So, money does not necessarily mean happiness. It all depends on how it is used. If we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be a stepping-stone to happiness l Although money cannot buy happiness, it can make happiness possible if it is employed sensibly.

　　近來(lái)，有些人認(rèn)為錢(qián)就是一切，他們說(shuō)，要是有了錢(qián)，你就可以做任何事情，你可以住舒適的房子，坐豪華的轎車(chē)，吃可口的飯菜。

　　我不這么認(rèn)為。的確，錢(qián)可以買(mǎi)到我們需要的許多東西，但是，世界上還有許多美麗的東西用錢(qián)是買(mǎi)不到的。

　　例如，知識(shí)是買(mǎi)不來(lái)的，一個(gè)人要想獲得豐富的知識(shí)，只有通過(guò)艱苦的學(xué)習(xí)。時(shí)間用錢(qián)也是買(mǎi)不來(lái)的，誰(shuí)能用錢(qián)買(mǎi)來(lái)哪怕一秒鐘的時(shí)間呢?

　　還有很多東西是錢(qián)買(mǎi)不到的，比如健康、生命、快樂(lè)、友誼、愛(ài)情等等，試想，一個(gè)人要是連這些東西都沒(méi)有，那光有錢(qián)又有什么用呢?

　　現(xiàn)在，你還認(rèn)為錢(qián)就是一切嗎?

　　金錢(qián)能買(mǎi)來(lái)幸福嗎?

　　金錢(qián)能買(mǎi)來(lái)幸福嗎?不同的人有不同的回答。有的人認(rèn)為能，有的人則持相反的意見(jiàn)。

　　誠(chéng)然一個(gè)人如果有足夠的錢(qián)可以買(mǎi)到他想要的所有物品，過(guò)上舒適穩(wěn)定的生活。然而，同樣缺錢(qián)往往引起巨大的憂傷。人們常常認(rèn)為“金錢(qián)是萬(wàn)惡之源”，對(duì)金錢(qián)的追求驅(qū)使許多人去騙去偷。在某些地方，沒(méi)有錢(qián)買(mǎi)不到的東西，導(dǎo)致社會(huì)的腐化墮落。

　　所以，金錢(qián)并不一定就意味著幸福。這取決于怎樣使用金錢(qián)，如果我們誠(chéng)信明智地使用金錢(qián)，它將是幸福的基石。盡管金錢(qián)買(mǎi)不到幸福，但它可以使幸福成為可能。

　　我對(duì)錢(qián)的看法(My view on money)

　　Money is regarded by some people as the most importent thing in life. It is even regarded as the symbol of wealth and social position. For example, with plenty of money a man can do whatever he wants to. He can afford expensive cars and luxurious houses, and he can travel around the world and visit as many interesting places as he wants to. In their eyes, money is everything in life.

　　In my opinion, money can both benefit people and do harm to them. On the one hand, we can't deny that money is useful. We need money to buy food, buy a house or pay our education cost. Money can make us live more comfortably. For example, with more money, we can help others and take part in more social activities and receive a good education, thus increasing our knowledge and developing our skills. On the other hand, some people try to get money by dishonest means, for example, they often cheat and gemble, even rob and kill people. Sooner or later, they will be punished by the law. Money can bring them nothing but misery.

　　In addition, money can not buy everything, For instance, no matter how much money one hast he can not buy good health, happiness or friendship, Although money is useful in many ways, there are still a lot of things that money can't buy in the world. In addition, money can also do harm to us. If a person really thinks of money as everything and pays his attention only to money, he will lose his friends, or even the care and warmth from his family. Thus, it brings him only loneliness.

　　金錢(qián)在我們的生活中占有重要的地位。沒(méi)有錢(qián)，我們無(wú)法辦事，甚至不能生活下去。因此，有些人認(rèn)為金錢(qián)就是一切。他們用錢(qián)可以買(mǎi)到所有他們想要的東西。有的人甚至通過(guò)偷、騙取金錢(qián)。當(dāng)然，他們最終的結(jié)果就是受到懲罰。因此金錢(qián)不僅能給我們帶來(lái)幸福，而且也能給我們帶采不幸。

　　Money is very important in our life. We can do nothing and can't even live on without money. So some people think money is everything. With money, they can buy everything they want. Someone even gets money by stealing and cheating. Of course, they will get punished in the end. So money can bring us not only happiness, but misery also.
