nowadays， more and more people like to travel in their holidays。 the other day i read a report about the ways people spend their holidays。 it is reported that in recent yiars several new holiday habits have been developed。 among them， the most interesting one is the growth of the so-called holiday camps。
from the report we can see that in 1990，40 percent of people stayed at home for holidays。 but now the proportion has reduced to 9 percent。 more people go out for fun。 the proportion of camping and traveling abroad was increasing steadily， from 10 percent in 1990 to 38 percent in 20xx， and 12 percent in 1990 to 26 percent in 20xx respectively。 people enjoy the fresh air， clean water and green hills when they go camping in the suburbs。 in 1990，38 percent people enjoyed going to the seaside while in 20xx only 27 percent prefer to go there。 what great changes!
why did those changes appear? i think there are several reasons。 first， it' s because people can afford traveling。 second， people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life。 third， their attitudes to relaxation have changed。 less people want to save much money by leading a simple life。 in short， people's living standard today has been rising greatly。

As there are many China-towns in the world, it shows that Chinese people are everywhere, because the traditional idea advocates that the more children, the better for a family. While the situation is opposite in the western country, they chase for freedom and individuality. Having more children is burden for them, and some people choose to be single all the time. So the birth rate is really low in western countries, such as Canada. The government even inspires people to have babies, and they promises to offer prizes like money and baby stuff, but the birth rate still the same, even worse. In my opinion, everybody has the choice to decide whether to be a parent. If they love children, then they can raise more according to the financial situation.

Nowadays, one of the most serious problems China is faced with is brain drain. While shortages of talent trouble many universities and state-owned enterprises, millions of talented people either emigrate to developed countries or work for foreign companies. At the same time, a big crowd of well-educated people who are determined to follow their footsteps take TOEFL or GRE as their passport to the West.
However, people see this phenomenon in different perspectives. Some hold the opinion that China suffers a lot from brain drain. They argue, on the one hand, that brain drain considerably weakens our international competitiveness. On the other hand, they believe that the talent should serve their native country first.
In contrast, others highlight the advantages of international exchange and cooperation. They claim that Chinese youths should go abroad to study and gain more experience. What’s more, the long-term benefits will outweigh losses we suffer now.
Brain drain poses a challenge. China should go all out to attract talented people in order to better compete in the world. For one thing, decent living and working conditions should be offered to specialists. For another, we have to better develop our economy, which is a sure bait for all kinds of talent. (204 words)
