　　親情英文小故事1

　　“That’s okay. Sleep well, little one. Daddy loves you.”And as alway he brushed her cheek with a gentle kiss.  “好吧。寶貝，睡個(gè)好覺(jué)。爸爸愛(ài)你。”像往常一樣，他輕吻了一下女兒的臉頰。

　　A few nights later when her daddy came in, Jenny was sitting on her bed with her legs crossed 13)Indian-style. As he came close, he noticed her chin was trembling and one silent tear rolled down her cheek.   過(guò)了幾夜，爸爸走進(jìn)詹妮的房間，她正盤(pán)腿坐在床上。爸爸走近時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)，詹妮的下巴顫抖著，一顆淚珠無(wú)聲地滑落她的臉頰。

　　“What is it, Jenny” What’s the matter”?   “怎么了，詹妮？發(fā)生什么事了？”

　　With tears gathering in his own eye Jenny’s kind daddy reached out with one hand to take the 15)dime-store necklace, and with the other hand he reached into his pocket and pulled out a blue 16)velvet case with a strand of genuine pearls and gave them to Jenny. He had had them all the time. He was just waiting for her to give up the dime-store stuff so he could give her genuine treasure.   爸的眼里滿是淚水，慈愛(ài)的他伸出一只手，拿起珍妮手里那串在廉價(jià)商店里買的項(xiàng)鏈，另一只手則伸進(jìn)自己的口袋里，拿出一個(gè)用天鵝絨包裹著的藍(lán)色盒子，里面裝著一串用天然珍珠串成的項(xiàng)鏈遞給詹妮。他一直帶著這串項(xiàng)鏈。他只是等待女兒放棄那串廉價(jià)的珍珠項(xiàng)鏈，好送給她這份天然的珍品。

　　My friend fromfreshman year had a terrible accident during PE when we were playingFrisbee one time. A guy from the opposing teamcrashed into her, and her forehead started bleeding a whole lot. They eventually called her brother out of class to wait and take care of her until their mom arrived. I thought it was so cute that he tried to calm her down; it was such aheartfelt moment. The connection they had was what I would call ... priceless. I was very jealous knowing that I would never have such a relationship with someone I can call my "brother".

　　There was also a time when my friend told me that she spent the weekend with her sister. They went shopping and all that good girly stuff. I always imagined that if I did have an older sister, I would tell her everything and we would have a ton of fun! She would be the person I trusted the most, the one that I'd ask for help when I need it.

　　I overcome my jealousy by surrounding myself with great friends who I can treat as my long-lost siblings. I hope they'll always be there with me through everything because I know I need them.
