　　1、推薦信結構和內容

　　第一段：

　　· 推薦人與申請人的關系。

　　· 推薦人是在什么環境下認識申請人，以及相識多久。

　　· 申請人希望申請的哪一個學期和科系。

　　第二段：

　　· 推薦人對申請人資格評估。

　　· 推薦人初識申請人時，對他有何特別的印象。

　　· 舉例證實推薦人對于申請人的評估結果。

　　第三段：

　　· 對于申請人個人特質的評估。如：溝通能力、成熟度、抱負、領導能力、團隊工作能力，以及正直等)，或是有哪些需要改進的地方。

　　結論：

　　· 推薦人對于申請人的整體評估。

　　· 評估申請人完成學業以后，未來在個人和專業上的發展。

　　· 申請人會為這個科系及團體帶來什么貢獻。

　　2、推薦人選擇

　　一些留學生在挑選寫推薦信人的時候,往往會進入一個誤區,認為請名頭越大的人寫越好。這個問題只能是根據每個人的具體背景來回答,并沒有普遍適用的答案,但不管是請什么級別的人來寫,一定要體現該推薦人和申請者是如何相識的,是什么關系,并確實了解申請者的情況,這樣才合乎情理和邏輯。
